Khatlon, SP vine production, April 15, 2018

Sweetpotato vine production started under greenhouse condition at Ahmad Zoirov’s sweetpotato nursery, Kushoniyon  district, Djamoat Mekhnatobod, Demo Guliston (37°44’26.9″N 68°48’36.0″E), Khatlon Province. 5242 sweetpotato vines  of eight CIP SP clones and locally used variety (as a control) have been produced in April 15, 2018. Plants planted into small cups with special substrate and put under greenhouse condition for adaptation and rooting for two weeks. Rooted vines of sweetpotato will be transplanted in May 1-5 to open field at 6 sweetpotato nurseries in Khatlon.
